OVCSA conducts benchmarking and consultation meeting with OSA of UP Visayas Tacloban College, OSA of UP Open University

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) of the UP Visayas Tacloban College conducted a benchmarking and consultation meeting with the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (OVCSA) on 25 January at the Makiling Ballroom Hall, Student Union Building. The benchmarking visit aimed to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of student support services in the areas of counseling and guidance, financial assistance, housing services, and participation in organization-related activities.
OVCSA provided assistance as it shared best practices and strategies for improvement of the offices' operational efficiency in its service delivery, and insights for the crafting of an action plan in the improvement of UP Visayas Tacloban College's OSA services.
The benchmarking and consultation meeting was attended by OVCSA Directors/Head/Coordinator, PDA, GSS, and Staff headed by AVC and OSG Director Jickerson P. Lado, and OSA Staff from UP Visayas Tacloban College led by OSA Coordinator Ervina A. Espina.
A consultative meeting proceeded accordingly with the OSA of the UP Open University (UPOU) as it highlighted discussions on student organizations, mental health concerns, and other OVCSA programs and services.
Attendees of the meeting were AVC and OSG Director Jickerson P. Lado, OCG Director Jea Agnes T. Buera, RECOMMIT Coordinator Marcelina C. Miranda, and OSA Junior Office Assistant Charisse Bautista from OVCSA, and OSA Junior Office Assistant Charisse Bautista from OVCSA, and OSA Director Ria Mae Borromeo with OSA representatives Martin Jerome G. Goli Cruz and Rodolfo Pullian from UPOU.
