Iskolar ng Bayan Program 2022

Iskolar ng Bayan Program RA 10648 for AY 2022-2023
UPLB shall accept high school graduates eligible under the Iskolar ng Bayan Act (INB) at the start of the Academic Year. The INB was signed into law to democratize access to higher education for deserving public high school graduates.

Eligibility
UPLB will accept applications from the following:

  1. Filipino citizens
  2. Graduates of a Public High School in the Philippines (CALABARZON - Region IV-A) within two (2) years before AY 2022-2023
  3. Must provide a certification from the public high school, duly signed by the school principal, of the rank of the applicant in the Top Ten of the graduating (Grade 12) class. Kindly indicate the rank and number of graduating class.
  4. Enrolling for the first time in college and has no credited previous college work
  5. Must have obtained a rating of 2.800 as the minimum for UPLB

Application
Eligible individuals must file a complete set of application requirements to the UPLB Committee on Scholarships and Financial Assistance (CSFA) through the UPLB Office of Scholarships and Grants.

To qualify for the program, the applicant must submit the following:
  1. Duly accomplished UP INB Application Form
  2. A certification from their public high school, duly signed by the School Principal that the applicant belongs to the top ten students of the graduating class. Kindly indicate the rank and number of graduating class.
  3. Copy of DepEd Form 138
  4. Notice from the UP Office of Admissions indicating the students' UPG.
Applicants must submit all requirements on or before 04 July 2021 (Monday) 05:00 PM at bit.ly/INBApplication-GForm (The link to the downloadable INB Form is in the Google Form)
Screening
The UPLB Committee on Scholarships and Financial Assistance (CSFA) will evaluate INB applications. They shall screen applicants and make recommendations based on:
  1. The number of INB slots and minimum UPG
  2. The rank order of applicants
  3. The priority programs identified by UPLB for INB grantees
